Meet our Technical Director
Ailie Sofyiana Serasa
Ailie is the Technical Director of Geomechanic Resources. She has more than 10 years of experience as an engineering field geologist and academic. She currently leads all training and consultancy alongside a team of seasoned independent consultants. Her expertise is in geomechanics, geology fieldwork excursion; rock mechanics, rockfall, slope engineering, cave evaluation, and academic learning development. Ailie is a registered Petroleum Engineer and was the former Head of Petroleum Engineering program at Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU). During her time as an academic, she was the subject expert of Directional Drilling and Surveying, Drilling Hydraulics, Petroleum Geology, Reservoir Rock and Fluid Properties, and Field Development Plan (FDP). Ailie is one of the Technical Committee Members of Society for Engineering Geology and Rock Mechanics Malaysia (SEGRM).
